Exceptional coil tubing lubricity using SUN’s PAO technology

CoastaLube CT is a high-performance pipe on pipe lubricant for brine and water-based drilling systems, utilizing a polyalphaolefin (PAO) synthetic hydrocarbon base.

CoastaLube CT is a high performance, environmentally safe lubricity additive. PAO’s are synthetic and contain no aromatics or adverse properties of traditional mineral and diesel oils.

CoastaLube CT enhances the performance of the fluid by preferentially placing a thin film coating on the coil and casing which acts as a boundary layer lubricant in high temperature and pressure applications. CoastaLube CT is readily dispersible and compatible with fresh and brine-based systems.

CoastaLube CT has proven successful in solving problems relating to kick-off point difficulties and other extended reach applications.
